¡Magnífico! Thanks a lot, that was brilliant. I love the comparison Richard makes between himself and young Orson Welles, and am so glad he's working with Steve Hogarth again. Anyway, whoever was waiting for his version of the Japan years can put their minds at rest: he doesn't remember!!!
But the best bit is when he talks about fans and says: "amamos a nuestro público, pero no les consideramos"!

Interesting the part of the fans indeed. Obviously, even if a bunch of PT fans had a drink with him in Glasgow, I don't expect him to invite me to his home and being welcomed to his private side. I know I am a fan and my connection stops in there. Heck, I am very close to my fave Spanish band, I've been in their houses and I still don't dare to say I am "friends" with them! I am not delusional about any celebrity I meet, but obviusly there are some weirdos out there and Rich has met them!

Hello all - long time since I've been here.

Just wanted to say that I went to see Rich and Porcupine Tree in Manchester on the 10th Dec 2009. I took my 13 year old daughter and we were both absolutely blown away. We saw Simple Minds a week earlier at the MEN and I have to say that PT blew their asses out of the water - seriously there was NO comparison. Officially a fan

OH Nat would have loved to but we caught the train and had to get off to catch our last one, missing half of the encores - she had exams that week and I needed to ensure she got home for some sleep for her Friday tests, otherwise I would have booked a hotel and made an event of it. Never mind, next time hopefully.

As you might have heard Porcupine Tree is back on tracks. The now trio will release a new album next year. Reports are that the sound will be similar to The Incident. Too bad though the great bass-playing of Colin Edwin will be missed.
