Talk about anything David Sylvian related.

No worries hon, I'm the queen of oversensitive! I totally understand *hugs*

And proggrl, you better come too so I can meet you! ;)

Bless you all for the lovely comments and wishes...I'm a little verklempt right now!
I'm so looking forward to the entire trip...I just love being in Italy and being there with my long-lost friend (who I actually spoke to last night for the first time in 18 years!) in a lovely old theatre will be bloody awesome.

I may just have some other exciting news, but I'll have to keep you all in suspense for a while on that one! ;-)

Thanks again, everyone's generosity of spirit here really does touch me.

Wow Chris, that is really great that you have made contact with your long lost friend!! I count myself fortunate that to this day I still have contact with my best friends in high school---they (a gal and a guy) are both gifts to my life. Enjoy your time together and don't make it sooo long between visits again!! :-D

You're welcome, and again, please don't feel bad. I didn't really read anything you posted that would seem offensive at ALL!!! Sonic and I even worked out our misunderstanding so everything is cool.

NOW - you have to go. Cos if *I* go, you have to go so we can meet up. :-D

*hugs* to all.

Great! It's wonderful to know that all is well here on all fronts again! :)

Are you going, too?? That would be so fabulous!! :D

Yes, I am still determined to go myself...I have an old beau from London with whom I am hoping to reunite, if I can contact him in the meantime (I have mutual friends working on it now, trying to track him down). That would truly be the icing on the cake if I can meet up with Billy again as well.

Big hugs to all too! B xxx

I am personally atingle with the excellent photos you would be able to get from that fabulous vantage point. :) Seriously, it's so wonderful that you will be reuniting with your old friend and for such an amazing occasion, in such incredible seats. Too cool! :D

And like the rest of us I'm certain, I am really curious re: this other exciting news, but I will try to be patient, LOL!

Thanks!
Well, funny you should mention photos...

...It looks like I'll be packing my hardware for this trip!

I just heard back from Richard Chadwick and he's making a note to himself to put me down for a pass to the show!
WOOT!
I didn't want to say anything previously, because I'm silly and superstitious!

So, I'll indeed have some decent images (unless something terrible happens!).

Also, the picture of Keith Lowe in the tour section of the website will now have a photo credit in my name.

I'm feeling rather happy right now...

Chris----you are too cool for words...........................

Now, your only instruction from me is to take many pictures.......many HOT HOT HAWT pictures of David so us poor souls in the US can drool and feel twice as sorry for ourselves.............

Nope........but seriously............you have to hook us up in this department. Perhaps in some small way we can feel like we were there.

Now, all we need is someone with a video camera and/or recorder..................

Don't put ideas like that into my head. Dangerous territory, my dear friend! Sonic, my dearhearted boy, lets get straight on that! :)

Have no fear on that score...I won't be bootlegging, but I know that there are certain persons unnamed who will be...

Why thank you kindly!
I never actually did anything commercially with the images from the last time I photographed David, there's only a very small amount of people who have copies (David's management and some close friends), but I do actually still have some extra prints in my vaults should anyone be interested.
For those of you that use a PC and Internet Explorer (not MAC or Firefox I'm afraid), you can see some of them here:

http://web.tampabay.rr.com/moodyb/DS_CHICAGO/

Use your arrow keys and mouse to move about the virtual gallery.

I may consider doing a small run of what I shoot from this time and perhaps offer them to fans as a limited edition perhaps.

I'll think about it in more detail closer to the time.

Yay for you Chris! Hope that you get good shots (and that you share them with us!) Don't focus totally on David, give some attention to Steve, uh? ;)

Mega-congrats, Chris -- this is so amazing and so well deserved! I am giddy with anticipation at seeing the photos you take at this show. I have no doubt they will be at least as brilliant as the ones you have taken previously!

And extra kudos re: the photo credit on the tour page!
