Roxy Music: Bryan Ferry, Phil Manzanera, Paul Thompson, Andy Mackay, Gary Tibbs, David Skinner. Recorded live at the Oakland Auditorium, Oakland, California on April 4, 1979 and in Denver, Colorado on April 12, 1979. All tracks have been digitally remastered. CONCERTO is a two-disc, 15-track live document of 1979's Roxy Music reunion tour.Double disc reissue of the 1979 collection of live recordings from the group's first comeback, the "Manifesto Tour". This edition has more appropriate Roxy-style artwork, with an alluring woman gracing the cover. The principle members of Bryan Ferry, Phil Manzanera and Andy McKay were joined by Gary Tibbs (who was recruited from the Vibrators) to fill in the Spinal Tap-esque ever-changing bass player's position and the late David Skinner on keyboards

Would be keen on getting this too!! I understood that there was to be a new CD, not a reissue of the 1979 tour, was I wrong???

I am also waiting for the new Duran CD, the date keeps getting moved back repeatedly. I am aware of Duran time, but this is getting plain silly!!

Yes, a new Roxy album is in the works, but Roxy time is the same as or even worse than Duran time

A new David Bowie best of with accompanying dvd is coming out this week I believe, and also a new album from the White Stripes!!!!

I'm waiting for the release of the Spanish singer/guitarrist Logan, that will be out on the 19th of this month (it's his 3rd album). He's a big Sylvian fan ;)

Well, since my highly anticipated releases of the year have been released, and greatly enjoyed, I only have a few left to look forward to.

Looking foward to ones from:

The Pineapple Thief
Bass Communion
(possibly) Pure Reason Revolution
Fear Falls Burning
PT Fear of A Blank Planet EP that's going to have threeeeeeeee b-sides!

and of course any others that may catch my eye. :-)

p.s. Fear of A Blank Planet and Ziltoid The Omniscient are by far and away my favorite albums of the year. It'll take a lot to change that...

classic Bowie LPs .
