i talked with silvermoon about this a while back, but Mia Farrow's son Ronan is a dead adorable lookalike for david in his younger days. I saw him one morning on The View with his mom and was dumb struck. I said outloud "my god that is the most beautiful man on the planet". Part of his allure was his very delicate way but he had such maturity and power in his aura. He is a child genius having attended college at the age of 11 and graduating at 15. He has since spent his time being a spokesman for UNICEF as well as a freelance journalist. He is now 19 and began Yale law school. Can you imagine!?!
The photo in the wikipedia totally does not do him justice. On The View he was so stunningly similar to David it was unreal!

I googled his name, got the UNICEF page with a few pictures of him. Difficult to tell what he looks like though. If someone gets a good picture, I'd love to see it.

Yeah- If you google "images" his name (Seamus Farrow) You'll see better pictures of him... Ones where he looks more like DS. I think the one he looks most like him is when he's leaning in next to Mia Farrow.

This past weekend i was nursing a bad chest cold, hanging out on the sofa, watching TV. Anyway, I managed to catch two old fave movies, one being The Wedding Singer. I kept thinking that Adam Sandler with his "look' in that movie reminded me of a certain period of Richard Barbarieri. I also watched Caddyshack and thought that Scott Colomby(the dark haired caddy that Danny fights with all the time) reminded me of Steve Jansen.

Don't mean to revive an old topic here... Actually, I do. I noticed a few weeks ago that Meryl Streeps character from the movie "The Devil Wears Prada" Has a blonde wedge cut that looks a lot like David's during the Brilliant Tree's era!!

After Nick and Lady Di, Jean comes to my mind. I've been thinking that her hairstyle lookes like David's for a long time. But nobody cares(off course!). So I've never mentioned it. Could anyone please agree with me?

sorry i didn't respond sooner...
I saw Seamus on an interview program The View... and when i saw him i was rather floored at the resemblance to david in his younger years. Then I was also floored by his beauty. He even carried himself a lot like david. He's incredilby slim like his mother as well, but taller... thank goodness. And, thank GOD he doesn't looke a thing like woody allen. How tragic would that have been???

Sylvian looked more like Bowie from late 78, theres footage on youtube of him from then playing his keyboard to Warsawza, an instrumental track and you cant help but think of Sylvian.

Okay, you may find this weird, but I saw footage of Andrew McCarthy over the weekend---I am talking about very recent footage---and he in his older age has some resemblance to David in his current age. I did not see enough footage to know if it was nothing more than just a few expressions, but what I saw made me think of David immediately.

hey, I found a picture of John Taylor channeling the David Sylvian 1981 look alittle bit (a bit like that suit he wore for the Quiet Life TOTP performance). Also a good pic of the forementioned Seamus Farrow in a picture that looks very much like a young David to me.
