Hello,

Thank you all for the reply's! I am going to thank you all indivitually. But first I want to apologize for being scarce the past few days... but I have been VERY busy with math to bring up my grade the past few days- Haven't even had time to watch my new Porcupine Tree DVD! :-O

Marcello - I am very glad you understand! I even thought about dropping out this year, myself! But I am just stickin' with it for my last year!! As for your saying, I do have something to insert.... "There's always a light at the end of the tunnel- Just hope it's not a train!"

LastGoldStar - We have our fair share of dumb "bubble in the circle" tests too... To see our math skillz, enlgish skills, num-chuck skillz... Computer hacking skillz.... Yadadda yaddada.

Crickett - Your reply was so beautiful! Thanks for it! You sound like you have has some REALLY cool jobs... I wanted to be an Archaelogist when I would play "Tomb Raider" When I was little... :-D

Krausy - I also don't belong to a clique... I am just on the very fringes of a bunch of them... But in the end, they are the ones who could care less about you, but I am fine with that! I know what you mean about now pushing yourself... Next semester I have Auto Mechanics, English 4, Economics and a Free Period... Go figure!! But about the hair.... I now have a V for Vendetta against that teacher.... She made me dye my hair dark auborn! :smt027

Vanity - I have also been different phases... But I have finaly found my true calling!! Freshmen year I was normal, then Sophomore I was emo, Junior I was gothtrash.... But I have changed, and though everyone may hate it- That's just another reassuring thing that I am doing something right!!! :)

Poisoned - BMI (I think you meant?) Is a test to see how much fat you have on your body... BS is... A bunch of bull crap!!! But about distractions.... If someone wears a shirt with stripes it is a distraction and the wearer gets ISS!

Thanks for your reply. I'll say it again, it's absurd. Hope you don't have to be there much longer.

Hey... About school BS, I must tell you about our senior shirts...

I don't really care because I didn't get one, but most of the seniors that got one are very angry... The class of '04 got a shirt with a wheelchair on the front that said "senior citizen" and that was pretty cool. The class of '05 got shirts that said "It's better on top..." On the front and "Seniors '05" on the back... And those shirts were pretty cool. Our shirt said "Seniors" on the front, and on the back it has a picture of our scary principal grinning and pointing and it said "We want you" and the word 'want' is crossed out and 'Own' is above it, so it shows our principal pointing, and it says "We own you..." Gahh!!! That is the worst senior shirt ever!! A few other people came up with 007 like James Bond... But the head guy of student council didn't like that idea, and thought his idea was better!!

So... I am going to make my own senior shirt. Anyone got any good idea's with the numbers 07? ;-DDDDD

That sounded dirty when I read it, I'm just going to come right out and admit it.

I didn't buy a senior class shirt, because I didn't care. However, I was a member of SEB (Senior Executive Board- along with Student Council, my school also had leadership for each grade level), and our shirts were awesome. They were bright turqoise, and on the back had a hot pink/magenta guitar and said "seniors rock" in '80s-style lettering. And we had all of our signatures printed along with the design.

I can't think of anything for '07... doesn't really rhyme with much, ha ha. I always made my own pep rally shirts, though, and for last year's, I made a stencil using Photoshop, and cut off the neck and shoulders for a nice, '80s look.

I've been out of high school for fifteen years now, but I've never forgotten how unfair I thought everything was. It's almost like teachers and administrators had no idea of the concept of free will among the student body. Individualism was quashed on so many levels. Privacy was not something that was respected. Little humiliations like the BMI test you mentioned were a common occurrence. It's a sad old story told in every high school everywhere. Just grit your teeth and push on through it. Like I said, it's fifteen years later for me, and while I still remember feeling like the outcast I was, I don't remember details or names and you won't either after a while.

One word of advice: at some point after high school, before college, or during college, take a year off and go on a trip around the world. Don't let money hold you back, just close your eyes and jump. Trust me on this.
It is all entirely perfect--it is as it should be.

I am actually really wanting to do something like this! But first I have to get the money (I know, I know, money shouldn't hold me back! :) But I am broke, so... I'm just going to have to get 2 jobs, save up every ounce of it... And see if I can include Tokyo on my trip! :-DDD

That sounds like a good plan. When I said "don't let money hold you back", I meant don't wait until you think you have enough money, because you'll never get there. If you stay in hostels and eat light, you can stretch a little money a long way and stay out longer.
It is all entirely perfect--it is as it should be.
