That is so SO very hard... It's a toss up between "Boy with the gun" "Maria" "Orpheus" "When the Poets Dreamed of Angels" "The Devil's own" and "Promise..." I guess that's half of them!

"Orpheus" is my favorite song of all time, so I guess it wins in this category, as well.

I'm going to have to agree with you! I can't pick, it's all of them. Though I love Maria, it's just so wonderfully chill-inducing. I like to listen to it in complete darkness and silence! Sort of spooky but wonderful.

I know what you mean lastgoldstar! I love the part in the middle where he puts in that laugh... That song reminds me of... Someone creeping around an old condemned house in the middle of the night... In a good way...

I agree with you. Then entire album is just too wonderful to pick just one song!!! But I have to admit that Orpheus is one of my favourite songs, for too many reasons.
I love The boy with the gun and When poets dreamed of angels...love those spanish guitars :-D

And , of course, Maria because it's MY soooong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :smt055

An impossible question for me to answer - SOTB is my favourite album ever (may be challenged by Blemish)

If you put a gun to my head, I'd have to say Orpheus. No, Let The Happiness In. No, September. No, Maria.

Oh just shoot me, I can't do it.

I love maria because it reminds me of dreamy visions.... sort of a warm candlelit womb. I also listen to it int he dark.... i just love closing my eyes and letting it wash over me....

Hmm, probably Waterfront... or The Devil's Own... or Maria.

One of those three for sure - maybe all of them? ;-)

Hmmm.... didn't answer this one yet - Orpheus or Promise. Both are my faves.

Difficult to say because Secrets contains such high quality songs. At this moment in time, I'd go for either "When Poets Dreamed of Angels" or "Waterfront". I especially like the live rendition of "Poets" David performed on the Blemish tour.

I'm obviously sacrilegist, but I have never been too fond of Orpheus.

It is Waterfront, for me. Something about it is so evocative of a place, fog, evening, waiting, hoping. I can see it, it touches me somewhere deep in my memory.
