Anyway, my biggest goof was with the lyrics to Quiet Life- the part where David says:
When these driving hands push against the tracks
For the longest time, I though he was saying:
When these drag-queen hands
At first it sort of made sense (in my deranged mind), seeing how David dressed and all. And then one day it finally hit me. "That's a stupid thing to say in a song, that can't be right."
I should look at the liner notes more often.
