I was very disappointed by this announcement as I have all of the CDs already and cannot justify the price for one CD and the book. I wonder if he will release them separately at some point? Probably not.

I mean, I guess I get how this puts a period on this time span for David, but honestly, hasn't just about everyone that would be interested in purchasing this material already done so? Who the heck is going to fork over this kind of cash for this other than Died in the Wool (pun intended) fans? I am interested for the sheer artistry (audacity?) of it, but it is not an immediate purchase given that I already own 99% of this in it's original format. I will probably get it, but not right now.
What would have been a really cool addition would have been a nice recording of the Fire in the Forest live show from this time period.
OTOH, I like that it is in the CD format and not vinyl!

I'd like the book, but as I already have the music I won't be buying.
Hopefully the book will be available seperately, although I'm not really expecting it.

Good point! Yeah, that happens, not only with this kind of goods, also with tickets etc.
