Yes, still here. Not much happening on the Sylvian/Japan front. Looking forward to new Exit North music. Quite liked Jansen’s 126. Would like a CD release if it. Had an email from his Bandcamp saying they might do a CD if they had more music to go with it.

Does anyone know how Sylvian created the 'messed up' photos? Is he messing around with the Panorama function on his phone camera?

Yes, shooting with an iPhone in panorama mode and slowly panning achieves these type of results. I have done some tests and it seems there are two variables:
1) Whether the car is moving or stationary.
2) Whether the phone is panned L --> R or R --> L.

The style of the final image depends to a great extent on these two factors.

I highly recommend trying it out. Very interesting results and sparks interesting ideas.
