Well I think it's about time I did this, this introduction is a little overdue..........

My name is Nataliya.......am 19 but Lord...let me tell you I feel about a hundred & I feel about 5 all at the same time............

I remember being in a music store & just gazing over titles on a shelf..........something caught my eye......a CD by a band called Japan...I remember hearing of them, wondering why they were called that.....what was the meaning??? I was into the Japanese...........

So I looked at this cover & I remember it was black & white........& I saw this beautiful woman on the cover with long blond hair (;-) ) & the others.......they stuck with me...somethin gripped me, caught me.......she was beautiful!

Once I found this Rock photographer & he had pictures of Japan on there....I remembered the name & looked at them......there she was again...but she was so andgrogenus! My Lord! She was blowing my mind! I looked at the captions & it said DAVID..........well well well......

.......I thought....about time I looked more into this......so I YouTubed JAPAN & out came Adolescent Sex & I fell off my stool, I swear my mouth never left the ground..........I was hooked....like a damn fish.........

So after that I looked up everything I could, downloaded everything I could, my birthday wish list was JAPAN JAPAN JAPAN..................& Sylvian was magic..........I fell for that magic...well, to say magic implies trickery & I don't mean to......something otherworldly....I'm sure you know what I mean........

Well well....I found Kera on MySpace & this was a dream come true, I LOVE this board.....the people here amaze me..........there's a spirit here that's dancin like crazy & it makes me happy. I'm damn thrilled to be here................

I Love music, the obsure, the arts.......books....films......words.....silences.......& I'm Russian but livin in London (UK)...

I really like your story about finding Japan, and thinking David Sylvian was female!!

What was the first albums you saw of him?

I have alot of songs that remind me of him. In fact, I do that all the time---whoever my "crush of the moment" is, I can usually find songs to remind me. I thought of putting his all together on a disc---what cha think? :roll:

Kera, I've been trying to remember which cover it was.......It was black & white for sure....if I look through them again hopefully it'll refresh my memories.....but I've been trying, can't put my finger on it...........!

Seriously, thank you for welcomin me, everyone, it meant a lot.

I don't know what it is, but Japan fans are DIFFERENT. Very different......I'm on a few boards (non Japan), but this is something else.........you're all FABULOUS!!!!!!!

And I loved that Heart song.........I'm liking the ideas that have been brewed about making the CDs, & with all the diversity we'll all learn a thing or two, & learning...knowledge....that's the key, what all human souls crave.......so wow, pardon the rant, but I love this......the world of Japan is certainly my kinda place.......

Glad everyone likes the cd idea---I will try to get rollin' on that when I get back from vacation. It will be interesting to hear what eveyone is listening to (besides the obvious :wink:
