(Both Blemish and Nine Horses did have Japanese bonus tracks).

Information available regarding a Japanese edition of Manafon:

Japanese only SHM pressing of his 2009 studio album. The SHM-CD [Super High Material CD] format features enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic. Using a process developed by JVC & Universal Music Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. SHM-CD format CDs are fully compatible with standard CD players.

I read this on the davidsylvian.net newsletter. Released in Japan Sept.23 on P-Vine Records. Sounded reliable to me. :smt023

I don't understand why people find the need to complain about this thread. I thought it was a valid subject to talk about in which everyone would have their own opinions and I think they should be allowed to air them without us bickering with them about it.
I would love to own the deluxe edition of Manafon.... but I don't have a steady job, I only just turned 18 and to me $85 is a large sum of money. Maybe if I scrounge around I could get it but I'll probably just end up with the standard CD. Manafon should be about the music but I still wish I could have all the trimmings too.

If you saw Camphorvan you would realise why he has a sense of humor. Mirror shatteringly ugly with breath like toxic sewage. Alone in a shack made of cardboard and wet fur with nothing but his Manafon de-luxe edition to look forward too... :smt083 :smt077

....which is why Misouriman loves me, because he can only aspire to be so handsome and minty breath fresh.

Skittles bowled.

Now, assume the position.

Considering David has not released a solo album for, what is it now 5 or 6 years now, i think i would be annoyed if it were every year or two and they were deluxe editions,of which the expense would be too much,i will be buying the deluxe edition ,because you never know when his next solo album will be,could be another 5 or 6 years from now you never know, anyway thats just my opninon.or maybe i am just obsessed ha ha!!!
all the best Dougie

You, camphorvan are gonna get into trouble with The Eye. Can I bring Neonico in with me on this affair? I hear she is a trouble magnet.
