MySpace

Postby anortherncod on Mon Feb 11, 2008 2:19 pm

Ciao tutti.

I was reading through Nabiky's thread and had a little idea.

If people wanted to do this, could we put up links to be friends on MySpace?

I'm the first to admit that my MySpace page is a bit crap - I only joined recently - and I thought having a few more friends might make it more fun!

I understand that of course not everyone would want to do this if your MySpace has your real name on it.

What do you all think? Just don't ask me what my MySpace address is because I've not got a flaming clue...

Sounds good to me!!! I actually like Myspace over other sites such as Facebook, even though I have a page there as well. I just prefer the simplicity of myspace, and it has everything I want or need to communicate with friends.

So, here is my link:

www.bigcountry.co.uk
Check it out!!!!

Tanya and Krausy, I have just requested you both. I love your pages! I think maybe I need to learn a bit more about MySpace to enjoy it more. I also use Facebook, but not much really...

Thanks for replying everyone. I've now chosen my URL, and guess what, it is...

myspace.com/anortherncod

I also changed a bit of my profile. But don't expect too much - it doesn't sing or dance or anything...

Hi, everyone,

I've belatedly joined myspace in the last few weeks, now that I've finally bought some new speakers (after having a completely silent PC for nearly two years!), and I'd love to friend anyone from japansylvian.com. My URL (predictably enough) is myspace.com/melaszka.

Also, I have a question for people who are less myspace clueless than me (i.e. virtually anyone!). I sent a friend request to the page of a band I like about a week ago, with an accompanying message about their work. I got a long, friendly, personal reply to the message from one of their staff just a couple of hours later, but they still haven't accepted my friend request. Do you think this is just an oversight and I should message them again/resend the friend request, or have I been snubbed in some complex way?

Melanie

Hi Mel

I've sent you a friend request, but as to the thing with the band you wanted to befriend, I really don't know... anyone?
