Any reviews from Oslo anyone?

Just something from one of those newspaper reviews for guitarists;
our Dave is playing a Fender Tele(caster). Significant? Not really, except I don't think he's ever played a Tele live before, (I think he used a strat in his Japan days). I'm still fond of that Steinberg guitar he used in the '93, (now they're out of business), though they seem very, VERY 80's now. It'd be nice if people could scan/photograph their merch - again, for those who will not be able to attend the shows, (and I'm thinking mostly of those jolly American people).

(positive review, Sylvian get 4 out of 5, the crowd is great apparently, one picture)

(4 out of 6, one picture, reviewer like the show, but thought Sylvian was playing it a bit too safe)

I can't believe I am going tonight. haven't been this excited since.....I don't know when.

Thank you for these links; even if I can't read the items, it's very cool to see them! (Does anyone else think David looks just like Bowie in the photo accompanying the first article?)

Have a sublime time at the concert tonight!! Please tell us all about it afterward, okay? :-) Thanks!

OH MY GOD he looks HOT!!!!!!!!!

I wish I could experience the music live. What an event to be treasured since we know how mr. sylvian is about touring. However just think he's now done 2 tours in 4 years.... guess that isn't so bad then huh?? Especially for the guy who "isn't going to tour anymore".

THANK YOU ALL for sharing!!!!!!

I'm back home. I read that my list is a bit inaccurate but I don't know all the songs so please forgive me for that and my memory is not at its best lately.

I can't wait for everyone else's pictures and reviews.
I'll stick to making videos next time, I'm better at that lol.

Thank you, Isa, I was so happy that I could text you because it was as if you were there with me. I just wanted to share it with you and everyone here as much as I could. I will post my pictures as soon as I can.

Arieleleven, proggrl, krausy and all the others who can't make it, I'm feeling very sad about that. Don't know what else to say..I hope that I will be able to make as many videos as I can so it feels as if you are there..

xxx Britt :-)

ok, here is the copenhagen review. no, not really, i can only speak for myself in this matter.
(i believe the setlist was the same btw)

don't know how to say this, but i wasn't all that thrilled at first. in my opinion, the concert didn't really start until world citizen. and i don't even care much for that song.
i was very happy he played ride, delighted they did a fire in the forest and snow borne sorrow. i came to the concert trying not to expect any certain song, but of course, when i realized he was going to do before the bullfight i started laughing with joy.
songs like world citizen, every colour you are and wanderlust aren't actually my favourites, but they might have been some of the highlights, so i can see how this concert will open new doors for me when it comes to sylvians many songs.

i'd like to know what other people who saw sylvian in copenhagen thought of the sound? i had a great seat in the middle of the theatre, so i expected it too be better. maybe the venue isn't that great for that kind of concert?

the crowd was great. i turned out not to be the typical sylvian fan with me being a 29 year old female not dressed completely in black.

i wish everyone who is going to see him a great time, because it is beautiful to see this man on a bar stool for two hours. but i am so curious about what he has planned for us in the future. it can only be brilliant.

i will probably have to come back to you later, have to think about this on my way home to Göteborg. i fell asleep to spirit of eden last night, and for some reason that record came out more religious than ever.

sylvian's shoes were terrifyingly white. but my heart is lost forever.

have to say my last post was kind of crap. but it was written at an early and confused hour. not that i think this one will be any better.....

obviously sylvian and the band gave me two divine hours last night. just the fact that he sat down all the time, hardly moving, and when he did, very slowly, and still managed to create an atmosphere like no other before. and even though i sometimes thought that blessed voice of his was a bit quiet compared to the drums, i will carry that voice with me forever.
he looked very solemn and sincere, with an occasional smile now and then.

now if only mark hollis would get his act together and go on tour, i shall die a happy woman.

and yes, they do have girls t-shirts, white and light blue. haven't found any reviews yet, but i stood for a while and tried to find out what the rock journalist of Swedish newspaper Sydsvenskan was going to write, but to be honest, my expectations of that review aren't that high....

How did 'A Fire In The Forest' sound?
Did he rework it, or was it similar to Blemish?
