Samadhisound - Myspace bulletin!

Postby Silver Moon on Mon Oct 09, 2006 12:54 pm

Hello all- Recieved this bulletin via myspace this morning, and thought I ought to share it on here for those who don't have a myspace!

We wanted to let you know that we have, after many requests, made the Nine Horses song "When Monday Comes Around" available as a single mp3 download as from today.

This track was previously only available on the Wonderful World single (sound-cd ss007).

When you download the MP3 you will also receive the packshot from the single - and all for a very reasonable £0.99

For more info please go to:

Thanks for reading, and look out for more updates from us soon on the forthcoming Nine Horses Mini -Album "Money For All" as well as the wonderful new David Toop album "Soundbody".

Thanks for the update, Kera! :-)

So who has heard this tune? Thumbs up, thumbs down? Will we be getting our £0.99 worth? Do tell!

The song came out back in March on the Wonderful World EP. I think it's a very good track, definitely not filler.

To say it's low key and down-toned doesn't tell you much, lol, fitting in with much of "Snow Borne Sorrow." Has a rhythm that reminds me of "River Man", an emotional feel that's a cross between "Maria" and "The Devil's Own", and an arrangement and instrumentation that wouldn't have been out of place on RTC. Reminiscent of "Sons of Pioneers" in some ways.

Yet, there's something playful in the vocal delivery, I think.

Those are my impressions.

Worth the money? Absolutely.

I got the email, but not until later this afternoon. The song is good. I'd only heard clips of it, so it's nice to have the whole thing now. I can't wait for the new stuff that's coming out in November.
It is all entirely perfect--it is as it should be.
