I can honestly say that even if I didn't like David Sylvian at all (Impossible to imagine...) I would still think his photos were excellent...

I know. I think in each of the sections there are some that are "okay", but then there is one or more that are just breathtaking!!!

Same here. I was wondering, "okay, why are you in a hospital taking pictures and I hope it was just a checkup"


Of course if it were anything worse than that he would not have felt like taking pics---I know I wouldn't.

I like the normalcy of his subjects, things you could see in everyday life, but they're from his perspective. That's what makes them interesting to me. I like the market one; imagine running into David by the noodles. (I like how that sounds! lol)

I wonder if he was visiting someone in the hospital. I know I've had tests done many times in a hospital, don't think I've once thought to bring my camera along. Kind of imagine him walking up to a nurse, "Excuse me, would you mind if I wandered around and took some photographs? I promise I won't disturb the patients."
