I love Steve's make up in the Tin Drum period, all pale and interesting with dark eyes....

Incidentally I think there's something of the young Elvis about Steve sometimes - know what I mean?

I heard that David looks like their mother and Steve their father, but I have never seen Mr. and Mrs. Batt, so I don't know beyond what I heard.

I think Steve was at his most beautiful from '81 to about '85...that's my personal favorite era, as it were (though lord knows he is a pleasure to view anytime). I too love the Tin Drum look, but that picture I just uploaded from when he was in Egypt circa '85...he has no makeup on and he is just stunningly handsome, I think.

And yes! I absolutely see the young Elvis in certain shots of Steve.

Y'know what, I can kind of see this in a weird way -- it definitely is The Swoosh. :)

I adore Conan -- he is not conventionally handsome, but witty, intelligent, and funny people are always attractive, don't you think? Plus, he is self-deprecating and I love that, too.

Oops, I misspelled humor, I see. I seem to be getting the vapors here, ha!

Once again, I have to agree with you. Steve is eternally beautiful and I will always especially admire his looks circa '80-'83, but he is aging better than almost anyone I have ever seen. He is so handsome, it's practically criminal, isn't it?
