Just want to get an idea of what solo/collaborative stuff you guys have OTHER than David's stuff? And what you like/dont like about it?

I keep missing 'Ism' by JBK on Ebay, maybe Im just not meant to hear it... :D

Well, I have Porcupine Tree and No Man- Porcupine Tree with Richard Barbieri, and No Man with Richard Barbieri and Steve Jansen. They are both really great! Also both of the "Tweaker" albums, and I'm planning on getting "Shining" by Dolphin Brothers and "Stay Close" by Steve Jansen and Yukihiro Takahashi. I can't wait!!

The only things I have are random tracks that I've downloaded from the YMO Rare server and random places, just because I'm too poor to keep buying music now! But I really like the Dolphin Brothers. Steve sounds a lot like David... 8)

He does - it's uncanny.

I've got some Dolphin Bros on order but currently have a growing collection of Mick's work and have started on Steve's work with Rich and others. It's fascinating discovering all this great music.

Im so grateful they all decided to carry on with music after Japan - to think we might have had only Japan from these talented guys would have been a loss to music.

I have Dolphin Brother's 'Catch the fall' album , Jansen & Barbieri's 'Stone to flesh' and 'Stories across borders' , JBK's 'Begining to melt' , Porcupine Tree albums and Tweaker's too.

I'm planning to get some more by Jansen & Barbieri and JBK. I haven't find Barbieri's solo album :( I'll try to check out something by Mr Karn too. :D

Too much! Mind you I don't have anywhere near all of it.

'Other' Than David's collaborations & Guest Appearances, I tried to remember the 'core' stuff from my music log - I haven't included stuff like Midge Ure albums bought because Mick was on Bass, or Joan Armatrading CDs I got because Mick & Steve were on them. I kind of lost interest in Mick's stuff, so that's why that's not complete. Thinkning about buying his newest album though.

12" Jansen, Steve Yukihiro Takahashi - The Choice - Remix

I can't even remember what that is! I'll have to drag it out.

Why?

-----------

(Im well impressed by your collection Sonic - anal? NEVER!!! I hope my collection is half way as good as yours one day)

Poison, is the solo Rich album you're talking about that Indigo Falls one?

I found it quite easy to track down a lot of stuff but there are a few that seem to be eluding me...I just have this voracious appetite at the moment for all their stuff, and get ludicrously excited whenever a package drops through the letterbox! :D

No. He has released a solo album called 'Things Buried', but now you mention it, I want to check out Indigo Falls album too. I've just listen to the songs they have on their myspace profile and they sound great. :)

I just stopped being interested in it. It wasn't doing anything I wanted to hear. I liked Bestial Cluster, but the Tooth Mother didn't excite me - I found the least engaging parts of the JBK gig in London to be the Mick Karn.

I quite liked the remix album, but so far haven't felt the urge to buy the new one.
