Yes! Your camera is brilliant. I like both the city and the countryside. I love grey, industrial, smoky cities with lots of pipes and steam and cables... but I also love big shiny reflective cities with neon lights and rushing cars. I grew up in a market town, and then in the country, so I guess I feel more familiar with rolling fields and wild animals and woods and obvious season changes, but the majority of my adult life has been spent in cities and that's when I learnt to really appreciate the beauty of my surroundings... Now when I go to the countryside there are so many amazing things I wonder why I hadn't noticed them before. I like details a lot - and small things - like beads of gold sap running down trees and the patterns on moss. I guess it's a more soliary environment. In the city I like imagining what is behind windows. But sometimes it can feel like being one of many ants in a colony, and I don't like that. I prefer being a lone ant. But I generally haven't had much time for travelling and that is something I would like to do in the future as I have only ever seen English and Welsh environments. I would love to go to Japan but it is so expensive...
Back to the discussion, some parts of Returning to Seed are really difficult to sing...
