So excited, as my review of Slope is on the site as well (and it's been featured in other online publications and sites as well).

- However, for some reason, my editor cut down my original review to under 200 words and even cut out all the nice stuff I said about Tim, so I've been too embarrassed to tell anyone which one it is!

I'm still undecided about "Slope" - it just doesn't seem to warrant the time Jansen spent working on it. Sure there are a couple of nice tracks, I actually quite like the opening Grip and the Sylvian sung Playground Martyrs but the rest is kind of wishy washy pap in my opinion. Oh i do love Sow The Salt too and am looking forward to The Opiates when it is released by Samadhi.

Same here really. I listened to it today for the first time since 6 December (that shows you the extent of my OCD seeing as how I remember!) and I really like Sleepyard and Playground Martyrs, but the rest... well, it is a bit wishy and also a bit washy.

Personally I do prefer more songs and less instrumentals... one of the reasons I enjoy PT so much compared to other recent ex-member material.

Wasn't this album released some time ago? I surprisingly found it in a shop here recently and got it.

No idea. The album is being released by Samadhi subtitled "revisited" so maybe they've put new tracks on it or something?

Oh, could be. Or maybe they remixed or remastered it. "The Siren songs" sounded the same to me in the sampler and the cd I have.

I just received the (missingin my copy) insert with the credits for this album. To say I am impressed with Samadhi Sound would be an understatement. Happy! Just thought I'd let you know.
