Just listened to it for a bit: nice! B.t.w. the album was reviewed in the same issue of Electronic Sound the Japan-special was in.

One of the musicians that accompanies singer/multi-instrumentalist Jo Beth Young a.k.a. RISE and Talitha Rise is Ric Byer. His drum- and percussion-stuff reminds me of the work of Steve Jansen. Byer is also well known as O5Ric, under which name he released a couple of albums with Gavin Harrison, while he also released a solo-single for the Mick Karn-appeal (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNnod25cWLs).
