Just noticed some interesting information from Ryan Vail, who will release his debut album "For Every Silence" using this crowdfunding-campaign: http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/foreverysilence

The music in the clip sounds promising.

Here are the albums which influenced Ryan:

These are the four albums that have influenced my sound the most when writing my debut album ‘For Every Silence’:

Jon Talbot – FIN
Jon’s album appeared in 2012. I still listen to it regularly. His use of found sounds and raw samples really make this record stand out.

Nils Frahm – Spaces
For me this was more than just an album. Nils convinced the dance world that classical music also deserves to be in young people’s playlists.

John Grant – Pale Green Ghosts
This album for me is all about the massive synth hooks on “Black Belt” & “You Don’t Have To”. Live they’re amazing. On record even better.

Olafur Arnalds – Broadchurch Soundtrack
This BAFTA winning sound track is outstanding. It plays like an album. I’m always a sucker for a Juno 60 and stings being played together.
