My favorite is Nils Petter Molvær, so for me saturday 4. would be the most interesting day.
Unfortunately i can't go :(

Agreed, the new Nils Petter M. cd is delicious. Norway is producing some fine sounds lately.

Yeah, it seems to be a growing interest about this kind of music here.
Although I have to admit I didn't knew about neither Molvær or Henriksen before I became a fan of samadhisound label

I had not heard Arve, but Nils was a known factor. DS definitely opened up my world with Nine Horses and Arve's trumpet.

Ane Brun too. Norway hid her from me for too long. A beautiful voice. And a Norweigan friend in Andalsnes says she sees her around town nearby. Now that is how it should be.

I find it interesting that the sound world that interests me has names that come up over and over again, and also in new ways and alliances and so on...
on a sad note - Dutch musician/composer Willem Breuker has died today...

I'm afraid we have lost her to the Swedes now. She lives in Stockholm and has started her own record label there.
I think she was touring with Nina Kinert a couple of years ago. Also a special voice.

I know exactly what you mean. I see that often when I use Myspace to find new music.

Supersilent with John Paul Jones on bass
John Paul Jones made a surprise appearance with Supersilent at the Punkt festival in Kristiansand this Saturday. The Led Zeppelin bassist played a full set with the band and yes, it was recorded as well...

bring on Supersilent '12'
