Attack of the dancing eyebrow!

Postby Bap De La Bap on Mon Jul 03, 2006 4:06 am

I think theres a party in my forehead because my right eyebrow has been twitching on & off since yesterday, I even taped it up with surgical tape which I dont think it liked but it worked.

Who knows why this happens?

It's usually stress that makes eyebrows or eyelids twitch and spasm.
It is all entirely perfect--it is as it should be.

Bap it's a common condition known as 'Sylvian eyebrow' - if you go to the doctor they will give you some large orange tablets. Dont be scared by them - they worked for me. You may develop side effects such as Karn syndrome (your eyebrows drop off altogether) or Jansen pout (where everyone wants to kiss you) but they're quite rare.

HAHA! Sylvian Eyebrow... LMAO!

But for real... I usually get that when I'm nervous, either that or when I'm really really bored- Which explains why I get it in school all the time.

It should go away! I hope! But if not... You'll have a cool tick.

Yeah, I agree with the others, I think it's mainly stress. My eyelids twitch a lot, and it makes me go insane! It just seems like it's as noticeable as I think it is and I feel like people stare at me.

aw bap.... i can totally relate to you on the job front. It isn't so much i don't like teaching... i am bored with it at the moment. Plus, the school is going through some political horse crap which makes the conditions dumb. Plus, I have a new person teaching photo classes... he took one of my classes.... and the dude has NO real knowledge of photography. I can say this in confidence as we went to grad school together and he came to college..... with no camera (didn't own one?!?!) How on earth do you start your graduate work in photography without a camera???? Then when someone finally let him borrow one he didn't know how to use it!!!!!!!

Jeebuzz! how did that guy get the job?? ha ha
sounds like a fix...

I used to like mu job but we moved to a really grim part of town and
I'm cut off by corridors and elevators from most of the people I used to see.
Its like they put me in a dungeon!

wow... that is crazy because where they located the darkroom area and my office is in a basement in a building not even close to the art department... so i never see anyone but my students.

He got the job cause he sued the school for being fired before.... he was fired for good reason but some paperwork was missed and he won his lawsuit. So now he is sue happy and anyone who crosses him he gets them arrested or sues them. It is unreal!

He even dates these young students... girls in the their early 20s/late teens and he's like 40 years old and soooooooooooo UGLY. He looks like a weasel. Ugh....
