Of course I also have Chimenti's album featuring David, but he made so much more beautiful music.

totally true. everything Andrea has released is pretty much essential.
my two further favourites of his are 'Il Porto Sepolto' - this has just been reissued to mark the centenary of the 1stWW (it features poems by Great War poet Giuseppe Ungaretti set to Chimenti's music), and 'Cantico dei Cantici' - this a spoken (by an Italian actress) word album, setting the Song of Solomon to music. I love his way of playing the piano, too.

I had ordered Cantico Dei Cantici recently, but the seller turned out to be someone who wanted to earn more than he initially asked, so the order was cancelled. Unfortunatelly the CD is very hard to get.
I also love his work on the album from Stefano Panunzi on which Mick also plays some beautiful material.

King Creosote, "From Scotland With Love". Another gem from Kenny.
A sample, "miserable strangers". Enjoy

Quite enjoying London Grammar... great sounds marred by lyrics that, at times, seem like there are they to only fit the melody, than make any sense at all. Sometimes I think artists produce obscure lyrics, that may be hard to grasp, but genuinely mean something to the writer.. in this case I'm not so sure.

Thom Yorke - Tomorrow's Modern Boxes ... more laptop tinkerings; some good stuff, but weaker than previous offerings.

Also been playing a lot of Kate Bush, and buying some of her early work... I've only had from The Hounds Of Love onwards until recently.

Currently... Everything & Nothing.

Oh, forgot to add Pink Floyd -The Endless River... really could have done with more than one song, but there is some nice stuff here [one godawful track.. #7]. A bit of a sad curtain call though.

That's from his new one, I see: "Hand. Cannot. Erase". Maybe I'll pick up the deluxe version one of these days.

I managed to get my hands on an advanced copy of this. I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. I'm not sure what I was expecting but this isnt it. Hopefully it will be a grower. I also see that govan & minnemann will be absent from the stateside shows. Now that pretty much sucks. :)

Discovering lots of lovely independent labels releasing some rather nice music. I can highly recommend the following

Sonic Pieces - beautifully hand packaged CDs/Vinyl and the music isn't bad either
