Most of the ones you already quote, Jackson Pollock and Patrick Nagel , but I also like Tina Modotti (not only as a photographer, also as a model)

Her photos are so alive. I don't know if it's talent or you can learn it, but I must say that she capute moments in life that in real life are just seconds. Dunno if I made myself clear...

My favourite artists are Paul Delvaux, Leon Spillaert, Mucha, Erte, Frida Kahlo, Giger, Magritte, the Vienna Secessionists, Francis Bacon, Junko Mizuno, Mark Ryden, MC Escher, Suehiro Maruo, David Ho, Natalie Shau, Charles Benefiel, the performance/installation artist Orlan (link not very safe for work), and architects like Gaudi and Lloyd Wright - I love Arts & Crafts, Art Nouveau, surrealism and brutalism, which is a very strange combination, I know

My favourite photographers tend to be a little on the morbid side, shall we say - I love Ryuji Miyamoto, whose photographs mainly feature epic destroyed buildings, and who is criminally under-represented in the media I feel:

Also I adore Joel-Peter Witkin (NSFW link), Ken'ichi Murata (whose strange and slightly grotesque erotic photography is also very, very NSFW), and Michiko Kon... agh, too many artists to mention really, sorry about the length of this post
