I'm sorry but I don't really know where to post this.
I started painting a David for you guys, it's rather bad, but I'll post how it is looking now.

I didn't even begin the hair, it looks a bit strange. I'll finish it this week, I promise :-)

wow you have tons of talent! I think it is going to look amazing. You know strangely enough it sort of reminds me of what i think the portrait of dorian gray looks like. LOL

Hehe, I am a Wilde fanatic, I may be a bit influenced hehe. Thank you for the comment! I still don't know what colour I should paint his clothes, should I keep with the blue'ish black or maybe the opposite, a really bright white shirt? Maybe he will look too angelic with it. What do you prefer?
I will correct the messed up left size of his face now, and put some more pinks instead of the browns. Sylvian has a very pale skin tone. I am only a student, so please give me your ideas, I want to improve

i sort of like the dark almost renaissance like tone to the painting.... I'd finish the hair and touch up the flesh before i fiddled with the shirt... i am drawn to the dark because it draws me more into his face....

A dark shirt is best for me as well.

I restarted it, the chin was too small and I didn't like the eyes.
Only missing the black shirt and wavy hair (the most important thing, of course)

wow i love the painting on the bottom. Wish you lived closer I'd take your throw aways!!! I love it! Love how you did his hair! And the bottom's eye brow is perfection!!! LOVE IT

Yeah, I think the eyebrows on the new one are too thick, and his eyebrows must be absolutely perfect.

I don't usualy work from photos, but since Mr.Sylvian would probably refuse to pose for me, what picture would you like me to work with?

Oh, and don't ask me to make a watercolour, please, it's what I do worst.
