what sort of "kitsch" memorabilia???? I've not seen anything too interesting on ebay for a while now.

Don't get too excited - I haven't bought anything for a while now and I never buy anything expensive or actually worth having. The kind of stuff I buy are the items where the P&P comes to about three times the cost of the item - bulk produced button badges from 1980s teenage magazines etc.

Thrift store clothing. Well, any clothing really, but I do most of the damage at the Waterfront Mission. I have tons of clothes but if I see something slightly unique... I somehow end up buying it. I did get a really fantastic cocktail dress for $6, though. Asymmetrical sleeves, royal purple, very '80s...

Used books. I won't typically buy any classical literature new. I like the old paperbacks because I like to imagine the history behind them- who owned the book, if s/he enjoyed, what kind of personality that person had, and so forth. I like finding copies where the previous owner took notes in the book, as well.

Sushi. I'm loyal to one particular restaurant. My friends and I discovered that not only do the waiters recognize us, but the sushi chefs (!) do as well. Found this out by sitting at the sushi bar... one of the chefs chatted us up and made us free hand rolls. :D

Yes, that's a big one of mine, as well, except I don't count it as a guilty pleasure, as I don't feel guilty about it.

The fish kind, or the potato cake in batter that they call 'fritters' in Nottingham...? I like both...

I think I might have to add Lastgoldstar's signature pic to mine!

Well, that's THREE different names for them then - and where I was brought up they didn't even exist!

I talk/sing to my cats... yes...

I also listen to both Spandau Ballet, (Gold was number 1 in the charts the day I was born) and also the Bay City Rollers....oh my Shangalang....lol

I also buy books upon books and CD's upon CD's (I have nearly 200 according to my ratemymusic page) even though I have no space for them whatsoever (box room in my mum's house, not wise self) I am also quite taken with shoes, sparkly, neon, otherwise unusual shoes are a real guilty pleasure of mine.

I didn't say I felt guilty from them Gods! Quite the opposite in fact, but it's just that the rest of humanity might deem them to be err, guilty ...

A guilty pleasure. This one is for a love which was cast quickly, imperfect and shattered painfully. For Annetta, in London, May 1990...

and more self-doubt (thank you Mr. Tim Buckley)
