The amazing adventures of Mr Normall

Postby MrNormall on Mon Sep 03, 2007 10:00 am

"Greetings from Finland", as the saying goes. I've registered to this forum ages ago, 06.06.06 to be exact, but never written here before.

I've been a supporter of New Romantics/Futu-scene since early '80s and still going strong. My first Japan record was "Tin Drum" which I bought when it was still quite recent release.

Here's what has happened so far and also link to my record collection (quite few Sylvian/Jansen/Barbieri/Karn related items): Close Encounters Of The Third Kind

Oh... one small detail I almost forgot: Gentelemen Take Polaroids by Japan is the best music album ever made and will remain so forever, if you ask me :smt020

In color. In stereo. In Normall-vision:

John Foxx plays 'Metamatic' - London 08.10.2007

Thomas Dolby at Carlington Academy 10.10.2007

Both gigs were excellent and great fun. John Foxx & Louis Gordon played 'Metamatic' and b-sides from that era. One of the best gigs ever if you ask me. Thomas Dolby at Carlingrton was more than I dared to hope for. These pictures tell what happened.

Totally agreed. Welcome to the Forum! :)
Also: GREAT record collection!

I own Ant Box and the Adam Ant DVD ;)
Plus you have an AMAZING collection or Japan & such.
& Your Duran Duran collection is to DIE for!
it's a shame as I didn't live in the era when that was all released so I really have to hunt around for the records I want.
Although they did release the Singles collection for Duran Duran.
And Ant Box i guess is a good buy for all the demos and singles.

xx
