Thought I'd mention that there is a difference in the tone of the black and white prints between the two versions, especially noticeable on the photos which are the same in each. The pics are much darker in the British version, heavier black tone and to me they lose some of the detail because of that. The Japanese version allows some flaws in the pics; for example, some show scratches or dots on the print. I guess they were tidied up for the British version.

Yes, I saw the difference on ebay! I must say I'm a little irked that the some of the pics in the British version are so tiny!! I was expecting full page pics... It is still a beautiful photo book nontheless....

... But when I get some money I'm getting the Japanese version!! :-P

Hmmm...I was just checking out your ...Canvas VHS. The format is PAL and I don't know how I could find a VHS player that plays PAL format (anyone know of any inexpensive one in USA?)...actually, I think I tried finding one not too long ago but I had a difficult time or the price was like $500.00 or something outrageous (IMO). I do have a DVD player that's region free! Anyway, I would've bid on that.

I have the English version and I only paid 7 quid for it with postage and packing - ebay is a wonderful, wonderful thing!! I thought it would go for so much more...

I only wish I had a scanner...so many nice pictures in that one and then noone would need to shell out so much on buying it unless they wanted to.

I might have a look for a cheap scanner on ebay.

Oh and I am coveting the Japanese one now...it's always money that limits me...

I think the majority of the pics from both versions are in the photo albums here (at least the band, David and Steve pics). :-)

"Lil misery"?? Should go and see him at a Porcupine Tree gig. He's Mr Happy now - and he dances!

Oooh does he now how wonderful! I would love to see that -

I was actually gonna go see him with the Bays not long ago but that was a complete tickets had all gone FAIL!!

Gotta admit though back there he was a miserable looking sod - he did it so so well. Ooooh I luff him so so much!!

I confess to knowing little about Porcupine Tree - one day if I ever have money I shall investigate methinks...
