Haven't seen this here so...

10 years in the making, Fjieri's debut album Endless represents the satisfying conclusion to a meticulously executed labour of love.

The band, led by Stefano Panunzi and Nicola Lori, are joined by an impressive cast of guest musicians, including Mick Karn, Tim Bowness, Andrea Chimenti, Peter Chilvers, Nicola Alesini and Porcupine Tree members, Gavin Harrison and Richard Barbieri.

Co-produced by Barbieri, the album artfully combines Ambient and Progressive Rock influences to create a sophisticated sound that incorporates delicate atmospherics, rich melodies, looping rhythms and hard-hitting riffs.

Recalling aspects of Rain Tree Crow, Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Eno, King Crimson and No-Man, Endless is a powerful debut statement from an Italian band in the ascendant.

Pre-order now for November 23rd release.

No one seems to have checked this. :(

I received it today and it's AMAZING! If you guys like JBK and Jansen/Barbieri, this reminds me a lot to what they did! Richard plays in all tracks and produces too. Mick Karn plays in a couple and also Gavin Harrison from Porcupine Tree. Oh and Tim Bowness sings in 2 tracks too! :D

I've been waiting for this record for 5 of the the 10 years they took to make it, so I ordered it as soon as it was made available. And, as usual, (it was shipped 12 days ago) here I am waiting... :(

Nice new avatar you've got there. :smt023

Aw, hope that you get it soon! I thought I'd like it but I am very very impressed by the album! Wish I had received it earlier, I would have told Richard I love it!

And thanks about the avatar ;) We had some good laughs in Glasgow fooling around with the camera, haha!

The New Fjieri-album will be out soon and it will contain a cover of "Flame".

This is the information from Burning Shed:

6 years after its debut album Endless, Fjieri return with the brilliant Words Are All We Have.

As before, the band, led by Stefano Panunzi and Nicola Lori, are joined by an impressive cast of guest musicians, including Jakko M Jakszyk, Tim Bowness, 05Ric, Mike Applebaum, Nicola Alesini and Gavin Harrison.

Co-produced by Jakszyk, Words Are All We Have presents a sophisticated combination of Art Rock and Progressive Rock influences that incorporate tasteful atmospherics, melancholy melodies, driving rhythms, twisting fretless bass lines and imaginative riffs (recalling aspects of Porcupine Tree, Eno, Japan, King Crimson and No-Man).

Six years in the making, Words Are All We Have is a more than worthy successor to Endless.

Includes a cover version (sung by Jakszyk) of the rare Bowness/Barbieri song, Flame.

Pre-order for June 1st release.

Got the album today. The bass-playing is a real tribute to Mick Karn I think.

Lot of singing by Jakko, which I like, since I love all his albums.

And wonderful atmospheric keyboards from Stefano Panunzi.

According to his facebook-page Stefano Panunzi is working on a new album (finally  ). One of the tracks will be called "The Bench". This instrumental is dedicated to Mick Karn, who worked a lot on Stefano's solo-albums and the recordings with Fjieri. On https://www.facebook.com/34489824235864 ... 809593643/ you can hear a short piece of that track. Knowing Stefano a bit it might take a while before the album is available.

Speaking of Panunzi: he co-wrote the track I Go Deeper for Tim Bowness' latest album Flowers At The Scene, which was released earlier this year:

I Go Deeper is also featured on Stefano Panunzi's new album Beyond The Illusion. It's another fine, melancholic CD with beautiful melodies, three tracks sung by GRICE (known for his work with Richard Barbieri) and great bass-playing by Nicola LOri, Lorenzo Feliciati and Fabio Fraschini. On his Facebook-site Panunzi wrote that the song "The Bench is dedicated to Mick Karn.
