None of them are 'crap' in my opinion. If you have to compare something to poop, let it be pop-radio music that is written to only make money... Not an ex-Japan member's record! 0_0

I'm not so keen on Polytown by Mick Karn with David Torn and Terry Bozzio.

Bozzio leaves me in awe of his musicality. When I listen to Polytown, his drumming is all I can seem to focus my attention on. I feel as though I am missing two-thirds of the recording. :-D

Talking of drumming, when I saw the Road to Graceland tour at the Albert Hall, the drummer (name escapes me) was unbelievable. One of the most impressive performances I have seen from anyone, ever, (and I've seen Chas and Dave live, so strong words indeed).

I haven't yet heard Dalis Car (without the apostrophe!) or many of the other albums (i.e. JBK etc) so my vote has to be Titles by Mick Karn.

To me; it was just horrible. In fact, I knew someone who took his copy back for a refund he was that annoyed by it. I think I might have it somewhere still, but you can bet your bottom dollar/euro/pound/Yen I will not be searching it out. Awful cover too.

I'm afraid I agree with Camphorvan. Dalis Car is crap. That said, The first Day comes a close second.

SimonP - Camphorvan did not say Dalis Car was crap, he said he hadn't heard it yet (and quite possibly doesn't want to). He said MK's 'Titles' was crap. As for The First Day being 'crap' I couldn't disagree with you more. I think it is excellent. I wont argue with you about this I am right and you are quite obviously deaf.

Wasn't Pat Mastelotto the drummer on that tour? (he was at least on the Japanese gigs). He was Mr Mister's drummer and now King Crimson's :)

Yes indeed, Pat was the drummer on that tour.
impressive yes, but too heavy for my delicate taste.

Well I'll be going to see King Crimson then, won't I?! I just loved hearing him kick it on those drums.

As for The Only Daughter, it would come a close second for me I think. Having said that, although I think there are a couple of good tracks on it (the jazz remix I liked), but remix albums - not liking either.

Wah to all the bashing I liked Titles, "Piper Blue" and "Trust Me" are amongst my favourite all time songs....gah that groove...

I haven't heard all the former member's subsequent albums but I can't think of any that I have heard that I really outrightly despised.
