I've already decided what I would say and it goes something like this:

"A few years back, I read an interview with you in which you stated your goal in making music was to change each listener's life, to give them a new perspective, to 'blow their hearts wide open.' With me, you have accomplished that mission. Thank you so much."

oh, i'd like to give him my phone number as well as that nice little speech i've got planned, but what would probably come out of my mouth would be "blrbhfth" and i would drool and he would remember why he doesn't leave the house so much.

So agreed. :D

So, hmm, what I would say to David... well, after fainting, something like "ohmygodyourmusicisamazingicantexplainwhatitmeanstomebutiloooveyou" would probably come out. That being said, I probably wouldn't be able to talk ANYWAY. What I would want to be able to say is something a lot like Sheisnot would say.

That is lovely - and much like what I would probably want to say - but I dare say I would be so utterly starstruck I would be unable to move my mouth and would have to just stare at him and show him the speech written on cards, Bob Dylan stylee.

That is so beautiful... I'd love to tell him something like that and thank him for making my life a little bit easier :-)

But probably , I'll forget every single word in English that I know...
It happened to me a few times... with Rufus Wainwright, Brett Anderson and Stefan Olsdal , the bass player of Placebo [even when he speaks Spanish quite well!!! ]

Neil Finn is one of my favourite musicians. He has been in several proyects but I think he's well known for being the singer in Crowded House. He has released a few solo albums, and also with his brother as The Finn Brothers.

Rufus Wainwright is a Canadian singer songwriter. I love his music. I think he has a great sense of melodies and poetry , and an amazing voice.
