Not new as such, but released an album this year: No-Man.

hhmm not sure i know of any new bands.... i suppose some of the female artists coming up have some traits of ds music... such as stina nordenstam and nael yaem (sp?). Even Tori Amos's earlier work has some unique qualities to that of later japan music ... of course it also had influences from kate bush, which i would also say had similarities to the originality of japan's work. I realize the connection japan and kate had in the beginning too...
