On "The Art of Parties" live version on the B side of "Ghosts" David Sylvian plays Iruka guitar.

What the hell is that? Iruka is dolphin in Japanese. Is the guitar sound meant to resemble a dolphin?

Well, I put in the question to another forum site I frequent. I'll let you know if I hear anything back.

After I begrudgingly study for one of my upcoming exams, I'll see if I can dig anything up online myself.

Interesting is right!

The only problem is that I can't seem to find any information about it at all :? I dug around for awhile too. I do think I found a few new funky computer viruses :-D

Otherwise, there seems to be nothing concrete around the internet as of yet. A few Japanese acoustic tracks is the only notable thing I recall finding.

I would normally assume that it is a guitar brand that was oddly specified. Whatever it may be, it seems to have little documentation surrounding it.
