Jan Bang confirms at Nasjonal Jazzscene that David spent three months recording at his studio in Kristiansand in 2015 - during which time 'Playing the Schoolhouse' was created in a break between the main sessions. Jan also said that these sessions were among a series that David has conducted - so he has clearly been very active. It's great that he has been able to find a studio environment in which to spend such an extended period.

We can look forward to the results - whilst revelling such an amazing catalogue of work to which we already have access.

Thanks swebla... I'll take a punt and order it, but as far as the DS content is concerned, its yet another reading going by the description: David Sylvian : voice, vocal treatments, electronics .... Voice recorded by David Sylvian, Los Angeles, USA, 2014. I hope the instrumental side is more than bangs, crashes and scrapes and it has some beauty to it

The wait continues for a proper and solo release from David.
