Sylvian Music in Films

Postby thricegreat on Sun Jan 07, 2007 2:53 am

I just had a look over at the imdb and to my surprise saw Sylvian listed as having done the original music for a Turkish documentary called The Collector (Koleksiyoncu 2002 directed by Pelin Esmer). Apologies if this query has been dealt with before, but does anyone know anything about this - ???

I don't think I have ever heard about this, but I too would be very interested in hearing more details if possible! Thank you for mentioning this.

Can you believe that his music is being used in mainstream films as well?

I mean World Citizen being used in Babel, and now The Banality of Evil being used in The Number 23. Good job David!!!

I know, right? It's fabulous! I am rooting for Babel to win at the Oscars tonight just because of the Sylvian-Sakamoto connection. :-)
