I have the 7 and 12 inch of it, its such a good piece of music, a rival for my favourite of all time sometimes...

It makes me want to cry when people deride and dismiss it.

No I don't think so, nothing on it indicates the version as being different, I haven't listened to it anyway cos I don't have a record player at my disposal...

Ummm, does anyone know where can I find a proper version of 'Goodnight' ? This song just make me shiver every time I hear it before I fall asleep...

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by proper version, but a recorded version is on Akiko Yano's "From Japan to Japan" album, which is still available. Hope that helps.

Lol that Soundstreet is so wonderful, I put it on now when I need cheering up, Davis is so funny.

Oh and thanks for the link you gave meryav untitled, I have enjoyed downloading from that page and hearing all these rare Sylvian choons...

The live version of Weathered Wall slays me...
And the Sylvian/Chavez demo is pretty cool too.
