Yes...Although I don't think I've listened to it in the past twenty years...I'll have to dust it off...

I bought this immediately after the "Sons Of Pioneers Tour", and only played it once, I was that taken by it, though that might have been a bit harsh, but it didn't seem to be!
So I really can't recommend it.
Save your money and buy something else!

OK, this is weird, and I may be treading on sensitive territory here but, why was this guy the only dweeb associated with Japan to adhere to this goofy A** hair style?!

I HATE THAT 80's WAVE!

"Do you like Flock of Seagulls?"

"No, but I can see you do."

I guess my contempt for other new wave bands is that I don't associate acts like Duran Duran, and Flock Of Seagulls with Japan. I don't think they have anything in common. FOS have more in common with Michael Jackson than Japan.

Masami's 'look' predates FOS by several years - he was doing strange/interesting things with hair and costumes with Ippu-Do. I like what I've heard of his solo stuff, although the hysteria-tinged vocals on some of the rockier songs takes some getting used to.

I love Duran but I don't think they have anything musically in common with Japan, don't hear it at all.

I actually loved this album when it came out. It is psychotically strange, a very rare and obscure bird. It is a nice complement to the Ippu-do album Night Mirage, and as you all know, that one features Jansen/Barbieri.

There is a new Japan only box set of Ippu-do, which features both of these albums.

I was ambivalent about uploading this, but since it seems to be near to impossible to get outside Japan these days (& expensive too), you can get it here:

PS: have a look at this blogger's compilation download. Nice variety and a DS song too! ...

Umm, something I noticed. The bass line on the White Stripes Seven nation army, is nearly identical to the song Kofka on Masami's album.
