Albums of the Year 2020

Sea Wolf - Through a Dark Wood
Sufjan Stevens/Lowell Brams - Aporia
Hiroshi Yoshimura - Green (reissue)
Mary Lattimore - Silver Ladders
Kate NV - Room for the Moon
Jack Penate - After You (came out in late November 2019, but I 've decided to include here since it did not make the list last year)
Pan American - A Son (again, came out late September 2019, but was one of my favorite albums of 2020)

Let's hope 2021 is better all around...

I have to poke through those! I'm still in my 80's box as of yet  I can't comment on anything recent :/

I’m hoping and praying that 2021 will be a return to normalcy myself.

Amazingly diverse list baht! I have the Eno album. For some reason it did not grab me as much as so many of his other albums that I love. Perhaps I need to go back and give it another listen or two. Was the Luminous record from the same sessions w his brother?

I'm not certain if all of the songs on Luminous were recorded during the same sessions as Mixing Colours. I did read that Pewter had been included on the Japanese version of Mixing Colours, so I assume that song was recorded around the same time.

Thanks for your lists! Here's mine:

Eivind Aarset & Jan Bang – Snow Catches On Her Eyelashes
The Academy Of Sun – The Quiet Earth
anrimeal – Could Divine
The First Minute Of A New Day – The First Minute Of A New Day
iLiKETRAiNS – Kompromat
Daniel O'Sullivan - Electric Maya: Dream Flotsam & Astral Hinterlands
The Silver Field – Sing High! Sing Low!
Teleplasmiste – To Kiss Earth Goodbye
Tunng - Tunng Presents... Dead Club
Andrew Wasylyk - Fugitive Light and Themes of Consolation

In stark contrast to the awful suffering globally, this was an incredible year for new music. I think all of these are available for listening and purchasing on Bandcamp (and bless 'em for their Bandcamp Fridays.)

Nice to mention here (now I've finally bought this CD) is that David is in the "Thanks"-list. Wouldn't surprise me if he came up with the title of this wonderful album. :P
