Absolutely!
On Disc 2, Ascent, which was the 10th track on the download version, is missing, but I guess it's track 7 on Disc 3 [Ascent (Swimming In Qualia) Live 2008]. I wonder if that decision has to do with timing/cd-capacity or to avoid mixing things up (Slope live on one disc, all the rest on another)?

So who will issue this record? And who are the first and second parties?

Most of the non DS releases on Samadhi sound now seem to be out of stock from their store. Amazon uk still seem to have copies of Slope, but I presume the 'print run' for this and all the other releases are largely sold or with main stockists.

Presumably the decision's been made that Samadhi won't manufacture any more and have released some or all of the rights to the original artists? Clearly Steve wants his music available in physical form still, so this seems like a great idea.

Be interesting to know more about the future for Samadhi though. They'd built an interesting niche and 'brand' but maybe the costs and time involved with releasing non DS material are too great?

maybe steve can take ownership of the nine horses materials. that could use a face lift & a vinyl release. too bad there is no live material from this project available.

Very impressive package with nice booklet/lyrics.
Only thing missing is the DVD of the live show.

This is how to do a reissue. There is quite a lot of "new" material for me as I haven't yet got the DVD (though I did manage to buy it online last week!). The alternate versions are very nice indeed, good to hear something different to add to the familiarity of the original album.

Steve is a perfectionist and this was his opportunity to get the music that means a lot to him out there - visually stunning this set is an absolute bargain for the price (under £20 including shipping).

Such a good quality release, I wish Steve could get together with Rich and work on the rest of the JBK material as well as Japan for some superb quality remasters/reissues. Now, many of the Medium releases were none too shabby ("_ism" springs to mind, marvellous), but as nearly all are unavailable the time may be right to revisit them.

Beautiful indeed. And nice to have that postcard with Steve's signature.
Non-collectors will probably sell their original version of Slope after buying this one, but I guess that's not what happens with a lot of folks over here.
