I work in an office where there are a lot of problems and troublemakers, a lot of strange things going on all the time. And of course with the economy the way it is you can't just up quit. It really helps to just put on one of David's CD's and my headphones and tune it all out. It's so soothing and beautiful, the voice of reason in the midst of chaos. It helps me stay calm and avoid a lot of the drama.

I have to ask and really I mean no disrespect at all. I wonder how someone could be a Sylvian fan and be an Ozzy Osbourne fan. They just don't seem...congruent. I know folks will castigate me for being close-minded or whatever. I'm really not at all...I also like a wide genre of music...but, I supposse most of it has a similar feel, attitude, modus operandi...etc, I don't know...it just surprises me that a Sylvian fan could also be a metal fan. Enlighten me...

I used to be friends with a girl who worshipped the Carpenters and tried to convince me that Sylvian had copied their music. I was at a total loss to explain this. Also the number of Bazz Manilow fans that would cite him and Sylvian in the same breath. People are strange, Tin Bird.
