Fellow Japan/Sylvian Fans,

Tell us a little bit about you...

Fellow Japan/Sylvian Fans,

Postby Sylvianblue on Wed Jun 10, 2009 10:42 pm

Hello, I'm Victoria. I just joined this site a few weeks ago, and i think it's amazing! The pictures are amazing and so are the people!
Japan is my favourite band, I also love David's solo work, isn't he just brilliant? I like alot of Japan's work, i am listening to them more often and getting alot more of their songs.
I have been a fan of Japan since November '08, I found them on Youtube, I will be 15 in a week, I am a Sophomore in high school.
Lots of people think I am crazy for the music I love, but I appreciate the music i listen to.
I came on here to find more Japan loving friends, and to view all the great things on here.
If anyone would like to chat, let me know! :D

Haha, well hey, it's always great to start liking a band at a younger age!

Hello and welcome Victoria.

I was just slightly older than you are when I discovered the band, which is longer ago than I care to mention and I can't help but feel a slight tinge of envy as I look back (sigh). I love seeing young people join up and it just goes to show that their music is as relevant now as it ever was and I hope they know that.

Considering that the second and third quote refer to historical facts that took place a couple of weeks ago, doesn't it feel good to have so many young girls about?

Seriously? I'd not be a teenager again for a million quid.

Just my opinion obviously...

I completely agree with you, nor would I. I think I may have been a little vague when I said that I felt a tinge of envy as I wasn't referring to her age, merely the fact that we discovered the band at a similar time in our lives and how wonderful it was listening to the music for the first time. Why does it seem to take forever to grow up but once you do, the brakes won't work :?
