Thousand apologies! (Wow! Do you remember "Mind your language"? Things buried coming to light...)
Hypnotek's great. Starts with a Bass-Communion-ish spooky piano and then blasts off.

"Hypnotek" is certainly worth being hassled with emails from that thing I signed up to, (lol clueless much) but if I'm honest it didn't really blow me away.

I mean it's certainly atmospherically mellow and the gurgling/odd sound that is underneath it is awesome but... From listening to the sampler though I suspect I will like some of the other things on there better.

I am definitely looking forward to this.... I haven't got too into the PT thing, but do like the work he did with Steve (and not just the Dolphin Brothers!).

Just out of interest... has anyone else noticed the blurred image of Richard's new CD, if you squint your eyes, looks a little bit like the Ghost 12" cover image??

Maybe I just have David on my mind... yet again!

Don't tell Suzanne she looks like David... double oops...

(It is her isn't it? Or should that be triple oops...? )

Not too sure about that (the image on the cover, I mean). But she's definitely the "lady-spectre" that appears on the background (the "man-spectre" should be Tim Bowness).

Oh my I listened to the sampler again and that last track on there sounds so niiiiice also I am really warming up to Hypnotek...

Anyway
Just curious but did anyone else notice that the second track on the sampler has that nursery rhyme "ring around the roses" in it or am I hearing things? I hope it does, nursery rhymes are so cool, innocent and creepy all at once.

Nice touch.

I am really pumped for this album! It sounds awesome, has awesome musicians, and awesome cover art!

Matt and I first guessed that Suzanne Barbieri was on the cover. We're all pretty excited about the new album. 'Things Buried' is one of the few albums in the house that ALL family members enjoy. Even my little brother! He made 'Things Buried' the background music for all of his computer games, and I know he used to have 'Indigo Falls' as his alarm for over a year... And we would always listen to that album together, so he should love this new one!

The few samples I have heard so far are really awesome! We all can't wait for this to come out!!
