Sylvian Spotting - In a Novel

Postby heartofdavid on Sat Sep 22, 2007 10:22 am

I've seen David and/or Japan mentioned every once in a very great while in novels.

Came across one the other day that was a little different. A friend recommended James Rollins' "Black Order." (He also writes fantasy novels under the pen name James Clemens) Being the book nerd that I am, I started by reading the acknowledgments page and found this:

"And a special shout out to...David Sylvian for lugging a camera everywhere, even atop the highest peak in the Sierras."

Somehow I don't think it's the same David Sylvian I'm thinking about, but...who knows?

It'd be cool if it is OUR Sylvian!!! I'm having an interesting visual in my mind. I wonder what David would wear for a hike like that....
