Anyone been to Japan?

Postby kinki on Sat May 27, 2006 11:36 am

It's always been one of my top 5 wish-list destinations. I've just been pricing up a trip there possibly next year.....here's dreaming...

Anyone been?

wow Actually I've had several Japanese friends in my life and had two of them model for me. To be sure they were the most genuine and kindest people I've ever known. Very deep rich souls....
Lately I've been wanting to take a trip to Kyoto... That is now on my list of places to travel. I'd also LOVE to go to Thailand and Peru....

I went to Bangkok 4 years ago. It was very interesting, but I was only there for a week so didnt get chance to travel outside the city...

Peru is lower down my list but still on there...you want to do the Inca trail?

I have wanted to go to Japan since I was five years old! I have no idea when that'll ever happen, but I surely will go one day.

And I'd love nothing more than to go to England. Specifically, London and Birmingham. I told my friends that if I go, I may not come back. 8) I may be heading to University of Cambridge for summer study in 2007 to finish my Associate's degree, well, I hope, ha ha.

I must admit seeing Lost in Translation fired up my desire to go there even more....

What is it about Liverpool and Birmingham that interests people?

Well, in my case two of my favorite bands came from Liverpool--the Beatles and A Flock of Seagulls. Birmingham of course was the homebase of Duran Duran.
