December 15 2007:
An Evening -- and an Album -- with
Djivan Gasparyan & Michael Brook.

For the first time since 1998's Black Rock, these two world music titans are teaming up not only to record a new album (currently in production) but to perform live as part of Royce Hall's prestigious UCLA Live series. The evening will be an exclusive event, the first opportunity to hear material from their new collaboration, and will feature sounds ancient, futuristic and everything in between. There is a growing rumor that, in advance of the January release of the collaboration record, copies will be available for purchase exclusively at this concert. The evening is expected to sell out, so purchase tickets asap.
