Nath, your pics are the best I've seen so far---even TeeJay's pics over at DDM dont' hold a candle to yours.......

By the way, what is your opinion of the show? Loads of people over at DDM say it could have been better. I think they get a bit too critical at times---I believe just being there with your friends and having a good time and DD playing some good music is enough for me.

WOW - I would have loved to have heard that one too, Eric!! And nite runner. That was a great set list. Anyone complaining about hearing those should be kicked off a Duran forum!

One of my friends at the show called me when they were playing " Lonely In Your Nightmare" ----it sounded perfect, even over the cell phone!!!!!

Yeah, the complaining is getting so bad that even the ones complaining are complaining about it---follow me? It's like, "Let's move on now....."
Everyone seems to get upset over differing opinions---I welcome discussions because it does make one think about points not thought of before.

It is always something though---Heaven knows I don't gripe about anything... ....hahahaa

Nath, great pics!

I can't still believe that yesterday the Durans played just 20 minutes BY FOOT away from my home and I couldn't see them. 20 years hoping them to come back to Valencia and I'm not at the city :(

Great photographs Nath!

I've liked most of the new stuff, especially the Arcadian sounding one, although I have forgotten the name of it! (Will remember soon after I press the post button, one suspects.) Although I am too frightened to say so on some DD messageboards I subscribe to.

Some of the comments on the DD boards have been horrible. I think it is a rather sad day when people who say they are fans of a band turn on them as bad as they have for DD. I have actually stopped posting on the LK site, it is just nasty. Just about every thread gets hijacked by a couple of posters and the topic becomes the same old tired one.

Friendly discussion is always a great thing... that's why I like checking back here to see what is happening. You all seem to be very nice people!

Thanks Ellyn!!!! You seem the same and it is great to have a group like ours here that for the most part can discuss things, share info, etc.

I know what you mean about people "running away" with threads. They all say that everyone has the right to post discussions, but then if they read something they don't agree with, then they attempt to either chastise, or simply annoy everyone to death. I participate in a thread if it is moving along smoothly; if not, then I just stay out of it, or if I feel my opinion is too much, don't post it at all. In that case I find someone else to discuss it with, such as a fellow fan who I know will understand what I am trying to say, and just conduct the conversation via email, etc.

I think that the complaining gets way out of hand sometimes over there, but it will always be there. I just read it and learn from it.
