Another Summer

Another Summer coming to a close. Children are grown and away working, parents struggling with illness, struggling with illness myself, still trying to maintain hope, happiness, feeling grateful, appreciating every moment of my life. It gets harder the older you get, but the sense of joy when there are good moments is deeper, richer, and more fulfilling.

This summer went by way too fast! It feels like it just started :/

Getting old really sux. I'm 35 but have seen too many close friends and family die or disappear. The wall takes no prisoners.

Be happy we're not as old as DS. I think he is nearing 70 now.

Remember to practice meditation just like what David did in the 80s and 90s when he wrote all that great music .
