Echo and the Bunnymen

I have been listening to the first 4 albums of Echo and the Bunnymen alot recently, i think around that era (80-8 ) there was not anybody around better than these guys, ok maybe just one .

I too am a huge Echo fan...I think Ocean Rain should be in anyone's top 100 of all time. That said, there is one post-punk band from that era (besides Joy Division) that does rival them: The Chameleons.
