Maybe i could generate some debate with this,'

Like most of you i listen to a huge amount of music each week , i thought we could mabe share some of listening habits and debate some of our experiencies.
some of my listening this week 24/06/12- 01/07/12

A bit of sting in there, i see , i like the symphonicities album ,pirates bride especially.

I was thinkin this could be a really interesting thread, we could include things like circumstances we are listening in (on a train, on a long car journey or late at night alone, ect) .I wonder how our habits difer. I tend to listen to paticular artists a lot for a while then move on, looks like baht is of a similar persuation

Quite a nice mix there, i can imagine you listening to 'sacred love' watching the waves lap against the shore,It's a good album. The Dominic Miller (sting's guitarist i presume), is it good ,i might try and get a copy.

Dead can Dance , now there is a blast from the past!

Good weather this week has allowed me to chill in the garden and absorb some music;

Soft Parade (40th anniversary mixes) by The Doors (twice)
Morrison Hotel (40th anniversary mixes) by The Doors
I love what they did with these mixes breathed new life into the back catologue ,i have the box set.

Dead Can Dance - They've got a new album coming out and are just about to embark on a world tour

This weeks listening

Patti Smith's new album which is rather wonderful
Felt - Absolute Classic Masterpieces (band of the moment for me!!)
Elizabeth Fraser - Kala, Mary, Alice...I love the stripped back sound of these tracks which allow you to appreciate the beauty of her vocals even more
Lloyd Cole & The Commotions - Rattlesnakes remastered
